Solo çıkışını 27 Mart 2015 tarihinde “Inspiring” single’ı ile yapmıştır.
10 Haziran 2019’da Taeil, aynı gün aktif görevdeki bir asker olarak askerlik hizmeti için kaydolduğunu açıkladı. 4 Ocak 2021’de terhis oldu.
